In November 2001, I was surfing the net, looking for information to add to my AI page at the time: AI-home. I was on a free hosting account, which was ad-cluttered. So when I came across FutureAI.com, I saw oppurtunities! Back then, FutureAI gave the visitor regular news about - you guessed it - AI. But after I got into Atomasoft, which is what NanoApex was called back then, a lot changed. After changing the design, I started adding more technical information about AI.
After a while, there was a pretty good amount of information online. Unfortunately for the site however, I had a big robot project. The update frequency dropped, and so did the number of hits. But a few months ago at the time of writing (Aug 2002), FutureAI made a grande comeback with a new and better design and updated content.
Finally, the site has gotten a new name as of February 2003: Avaye. And as of April 2004, it is supported by a content management system.
My name is Charl Linssen, and I currently live in The Netherlands. My main interests lay in the science area, mostly in information technology and (low-voltage) electronics. At the time of writing, I am 2 years away from university. My vision on the world? I think that technology will have an even more important role in our daily lives within several years. I, with Avaye, hope to be good help channel for hobbyists.
